Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance
Life insurance is crucial for protecting loved ones who count on us for support. Our company provides basic life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment insurance to associates, and they can also purchase additional supplemental life insurance for themselves, their spouse and eligible dependents.
Business Travel Insurance
For those who travel on company business, we provide additional accidental death and dismemberment insurance.
Disability Program
Income replacement is very important if one becomes disabled. To offer that critical protection, we provide a disability program as well.
401(k) Retirement Plan
A great tool for saving for retirement, the Hillenbrand, Inc. 401(k) Savings Plan is designed to
ensure our associates fully reach their retirement goals. With this plan, associates can save
up to 40% of their base pay (up to the annual legal limits) on a before-tax basis. We make two
kinds of contributions: a contribution of 4% of your base pay, regardless of whether you save
through the plan, and a matching contribution of $.50 for every dollar you save on the first 6%
of pay. Participants are always 100% vested in their own savings and the 4% non-elective company
contributions, and fully vested in company-matching contributions after three years of service.
